At the beginning of 2004 a new company was born because the opportunity to fill a need within the food and pharmaceutical industry. This enterprise was initiated by Eduardo and Enrique Lay Parra, both professional in the industrial engineering arena with extensive experience in production plant such textile, paints, sausage-making, abattoir, soft drinks etc.

Business perspectives within the food industry in Panama were oriented toward the development provided by foreigner suppliers specially Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia.

Our goal as a new company is being able to combine the sale of products and services for the industry with the technical support of professionals with great experience in processes that are currently present in our company. At the same time, we would like that our customers feel that they count with the support of a company dedicated to serve the customer.

EIGSA begins with the sale of wrapped pallet machines, and later on it developed a closed relationship with Jax Company in the United States which is one of the biggest lubricants manufacturers in the world. Nowadays this company is represented in Panama by EIGSA.  Subsequently, our company began to market products to control processes such as scales, and sieve shakers.

Right now we have a portfolio of equipments and supplies that are leaders in the industry, such as pallet wrapping machines, box wrapping machines, balances, labeling systems, equipment for the beef industry from famous American Asian and European brands.

We have an office in Panama City with easy access to most locations which allows us to respond to every need our customers might have.

Concurrently, we have a subsidiary located in Wichita, KS, United States which allows keeping close contact with our suppliers and thus we keep a versatile and efficient business structure. All the logistics is coordinated from that office.

Also we would like to provide complete our services and products to the local market and become leaders selling solutions affordable and practical.

Our mid and long term goals are to expand our area of operation thru a more extensive network in Central America and the Caribbean so we can keep a continuous development of our company creating more business opportunities based on our service culture.
